Well, well, well! You have stumbled on to a little "easter egg" we have inserted into the PrimeVOX website. As a result, you will now become only one of a VERY few people to learn about the origins of the PrimeVOX Bird. Enjoy your newfound knowledge!
People love the PrimeVOX Bird! So, where did it come from?
The symbolism plays off the mythological story of the Phoenix rising from the ashes of its predecessor and its meaning of rebirth, hope, renewal & progress. It stands for all of those things as they relate to telecommunications. As we continually improve our technology and revolutionize the telecommunications industry, there is a lot of ashes!
The design of the PrimeVOX logo comes from the Fibonacci sequence, which is one of the most famous formulas in mathematics and is representative of a state of perfection. The intersections that make up the wings and tail of the PrimeVOX logo have each been calculated using the Fibonacci formula. Typically the formula is know for being the basis for some of the most aesthetically pleasing designs found in nature, and we think it makes for a pretty sharp looking bird as well!
If you would like to take a stab at it, here is the Fibonacci formula. Good Luck!
an = [Phin – (phi)n] / Sqrt
Just think, if we put this much thought into our logo, imagine the thought we put into our telephone system!
